something healed, something fresh

well, as i didn't take many *good* pictures those last few days, here's one script i did the other day, a pretty nice tattoo session since my client was standing very still.

and another client showed up this week, his tattoo healed up pretty good so i took a picture.
i am really happy of how the colors packed in, since i didn't have that much opportunity to see the tattoos healed up. i guess my clients are too busy to come over to show me the results of the work we've done usually....

trying something looking like a *bad* photoshop essai...

so i tried to insert text in my picture... first attempt

eager to move on

well today i'll put down a short little post about some tattoos i cant wait to carry on with.
some have just been delayed due to cancelled appointment, that's sad but eventually it will be done later...

...and some, crappy stuff clients just don't show up and don't give any news or even answer the phone yet... well i still hope i'll be able to reach them and finish what we started, because it would look better that way.
...no news yet

...next session in a couple weeks

...no other session planned yet

...no news yet

...and soon we'll arrange the tattoo shop...
we'll open a giant window to actually feel a little less "locked apart"
here's a picture of a part of the wall we'll get rid of... i built it with friends when i opened the shop actually... ah, mistakes from youth... (yes, the wall ends up on the window)

moving on

well, tuesday i had an appointment with a very motivated client, Jean-François.
it's been his 4th session this time, and we have now a total of about 13h work on his full arm.
i feel very honored to have the responsibility to do his whole arm, especially because of the trust he has had in my drawing.
more effects will be added on the leafs

the red on the upper part of the arm has been tattooed last week, still healing

AND the guy is tough! he gets tattooed for almost 3 hours every time, though he is 56 years old and has almost no other tattoos (two small ones on the other arm, done 20 years ago)

tattoos i do

well, now i will add some tattoos i've done.
instead of putting too much old stuff, i'll try to be short on this post :)

so now, pictures! enjoy!

well, a start is a start.

Greetings. I am very glad to be sharing a part of my life and work here with you!

lately i have been asked to make posters for two tattoo conventions!
the 16th international tattoo convention of Geneva, my home town,
and the 18th tattoo expo in conthey (valais)

so here i am, working on it... it's my first picture on this blog!

i've been painting a while today, it's such a relaxing moment to enjoy!
it's hard for me to feel really available and free to draw and paint for serious production, i seem to have a hard time on getting serious at it.
Drawing and painting is something that anybody can do, but when it comes to me i have this feeling that time just slips through my hands...

i am kind of a lazy person, i guess...

aw, and no, i don't plan on writing french translations on my blog. this might change one day, but for now i just don't wanna :)
