Hello, hello!
I know it's been a while since last post.
I have been working a lot, for some cool stuff and new ideas, and that kind of kept me away from blogging.
Yeah, but after all I don't think you deserve lame apologies about why/ how I wasn't more around here.
So I'll give you some news, crispy and hot.
Soooo the end of December has been for me the beginning of my very own back piece. That's right, at 32 years old, and after years of inflicting to others that kind of pain I decided to go for mine. Don't get me wrong, I've always wanted a back piece, but I have been thinking over and over about what to decide. I have done 2 sittings so far, and it's going on pretty well.
I'm still very shy about showing myself here, but I will make a little teaser anyway.
Then on the 7th of January, we went for an Art show in Brig, for the Flying Dutchman tattoo shop's birthday. My wife and me brought some skate decks, and the theme was simple: five tattooers, five skate decks, two hours painting. Each of us made a cool design, and we sold all the decks(!) on an auction right after that. The benefits have been sent to an orphanage in Thailand, I will check which one later and tell you a little more about it when I speak with my friend about it. He is the owner of the tattoo shop, and a very good friend of ours. It's good to have people of trust in this world, and he definitely is one of them for me.
Also, last weekend of january Geneva holds its annual tattoo convention. Since its our hometown, I usually put a lot of pressure on myself to prepare everything for that special event. This year, i made a new banner, done by my super friend Xavier, and my lovely wife and me did some prints, in case some people would like to take them home. I carefully chose some nice projects to tattoo on cool clients, hoping to maybe win some price. The quality level was very high, and unfortunately I didn't win anything this year. But it doesn't matter, it was nice to be a part of it!!! And I intend to be better next year!!!
Right after the convention, we took the plane to fly to Copenhagen, because my wife is getting tattooed by the great Uncle Allan , it was fun for me since this time, since I'm focused on my back piece, I skipped the opportunity to take an appointment for me. Hah! No stress, big food, good sleep...
We actually just got back yesterday, and as I write this we are trying to relax before another big day tomorrow, last one before the week end.
So here we are, I'm done with writing for this time I guess, thank you for having the courage to read all this. And for those who just skip the blah blah, thank you for checking me out anyway! :)
P.S. oh yeah, most of the pictures are done with my iPhone. So it's some kind of another lame apology for low quality tattoo pics hehe...
